Sustainable Lexington (www.SustainableLexington.org), a Board of Selectmen appointed committee, has launched the Better Buildings Program in partnership with Next Step Living to help Lexington residents lower their bills and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
We’re now expanding the Better Buildings Program to spread the word about efficient, modern heating and air conditioning solution called Total Climate Control (TCC). Also known as ductless mini-splits or air source heat pumps, Total Climate Control systems emit significantly fewer greenhouse gases and provide:
- Savings of 30%-50% on your home heating bills if you heat with oil, electricity, or propane.
- Room-by-room heating and cooling in a single unit
- Filtered air circulation that improves indoor air quality
