Geoff founded Next Step LivingTM in 2008. Prior to Next Step LivingTM, Geoff served as a Senior Manager of the Bridgespan Group, a strategy consulting firm for public entities and non-profits. Clients included the Energy Foundation, The City of San Francisco, The Portland Public School District, and the Packard Foundation. Prior to this, Geoff led teams at Bain & Company in the New York and San Francisco offices where he advised clients in the consumer products, telecom, and online industries amongst others. Brian Greenfield
Chief Operations Officer
Prior to joining Next Step LivingTM as one of the first employees, Brian served as General Manager of Vista Financial Inc. (VFI), a subsidiary of Performant Financial Corporation. Performant is a business process outsourcing firm with a focus on the higher education industry serving U.S. government and private agencies. VFI provides student loan portfolio management services for national lenders. After taking over as GM of VFI, Brian reengineered the business model and grew the operations from 10 to over 120 employees and over $10 million in revenue in less than a year. Continue reading…

Chief Strategy Officer
Arjun has been with Next Step LivingTM since its infancy and is heavily involved in all aspects of service delivery. He has primarily been focused on creating the scalable infrastructure required to provide our rapidly growing customer base with best-in-class service. His work has included the design and implementation of much of our customer relationship management processes and systems. In addition to the above responsibilities, he is currently leading the development of additional service offerings that will help our customers take further steps to improve their homes’ resource usage, safety, and overall sustainability. Larry joined Next Step LivingTM in March 2013 with an extensive management career primarily with technology companies in the Boston area. Prior to Next Step LivingTM, Larry was the CFO of Advanced Electron Beams (AEB), a venture-backed company that developed and manufactured electron beam technology and equipment, for seven years. Senior Vice President of Operations
Prior to joining Next Step LivingTM, Domenic was Vice President of Operations at BostonCoach, a subsidiary of Fidelity Investments. While at BostonCoach, Domenic managed all customer facing and service delivery functions. Prior to BostonCoach, Domenic was Vice President of Network Electrical Services, a division of US Maintenance (USM). Jeff Lissack

Prior to joining Next Step LivingTM, Jeffrey was Chief Operating Officer of Peace First, where he co-led development and implementation of a new strategic plan for this non-profit teaching conflict resolution skills to urban elementary schoolchildren in Boston, LA and NY. Previously, Jeffrey served as an officer guiding three young companies through critical growth years–helping one (The Cobalt Group) successfully acquire and integrate another company more than doubling revenues and leading to a successful IPO, a second (Nanoplex Technologies) to secure its first commercial partnerships validating a new line of business ultimately leading to its eventual acquisition; and a third (Knowledge Ventures) to develop a scalable production process facilitating a successful asset sale amidst an industry downturn. Prior to joining Next Step LivingTM, Claire was Vice President at Serious Energy, managing the nascent commercial financing program. Prior to Serious, she was the Acting Program Manager of the Office of Weatherization and Intergovernmental Programs and an energy efficiency advisor to Secretary Chu at the Department of Energy for 20 months, where she guided deployment of $11 billion in stimulus funds for clean energy while also championing policies that expand the impact of public investment through engagement with private capital. Gabe Shapiro
Vice President of Outreach Programs
Prior to Next Step LivingTM, Gabe spent four years as the Director of Finance of Citizen Schools, an innovative national nonprofit that provides after school programming to middle school students in low-income communities. Gabe managed all financial operations of the $13 million dollar organization including, organizational and departmental budgeting, accounting, and federal grant reporting. Gabe designed accounting and reporting procedures for and oversaw the management of mutli-million dollar federal AmeriCorps grants. Continue reading…

Prior to joining Next Step LivingTM Craig was a Consultant with Dave Yoho Associates, the oldest and most successful consulting firm in the home improvement industry. While at Yoho, Craig worked with some of the most established companies in the industry to improve their overall sales, marketing and customer experience processes.
